Can Makers welcomes new member
The Can Makers, the trade body representing drinks can manufacturers in the UK has welcomed a new member, XSYS part of the Flint Group. It follows a period of sustained growth in the beverage can sector during which demand has increased to record levels.
Simon Gresty, Can Makers chairman, said: “Following the exceptional challenges which the industry has successfully managed in the last 12 months, it is with real pleasure that I welcome XSYS to the Can Makers.
“XSYS joins the Can Makers as a key supplier to the industry and as one of the largest suppliers to the printing, packaging and labeling industries worldwide. A specialist for the global flexographic and letterpress printing industry the firm’s technical know-how and global network will further strengthen the team and aid the Can Makers’ work to promote the benefits of the beverage can and aid communications between the industry and its customers.
